Per the Löbliche Singergesellschaft Website

Friedenstrasse. 62 (former Villa Knoll), this two-storey villa was 1913/14 by the architect Victor Krauss, Pforzheim, built for the builder Gottlieb Krauss. The villa witnessed an example of the stylistic development of the reform of architecture in 1910 and the then expansion of the bourgeois Rodviertels residential neighborhood.

In this case, the monument status has been largely with construction (-) artistic reasons, substantiated, in particular, the villa has substantial parts of its original interior.

The Knoll family bought the House 1922 (nine years after construction) and had a cultivation garden-run, as shown in the construction file, which is preserved in the city archives.

The villa is still used as private residence and the current owner had it exemplary restored.
