Who am I?
I am Thomas Wolfgang Maguire-The son of Margrit W. Maguire and Thomas A. Maguire, I'm also the Great-Grandson of Theodor Knoll and the Great-Great Grandson of The Founder of Knoll & Pregizer.
Where was I born?
I was born on Wednesday December 23, 1981 at 4:25 am in the St.Anna Klinik in Bad Cannstatt which is outside of Stuttgart, Germany. They have the Spring Festival and the Octoberfest here every year on the Cannstatter Wasen. I lived in Haldenstrasse 46 in Bad Cannstatt from my Birth till May 1, 1987 when we moved to Weil der Stadt and lived in Hirschgasse 6 where we lived till November 30, 1991 when we had to move to the USA because of the Discrimination against my Disability that I experienced by the "Jugendamt" or Youth Services of Leonberg. I've been in about 30 states to date while traveling and have enjoyed it.
How am I related to Knoll & Pregizer?
I'm Related to them since My Mother was the Daughter of Margarete Emma Nestlen nee Knoll whom was the daughter of Theodor Knoll whom was the Son of The Founder Theodor Eberhard Friedrich Knoll.
Why did I do this Website?
I did this website so I can finally tell the Story of Knoll & Pregizer from the Side of a Family Member of the Founders. I am proud to do it as I'm sure they would have been proud of me to do this.
What do I hope to accomplish?
I hope to be able to help people now and in the future with understanding how Knoll & Pregizer came about and what happened to it. And also to be able to tell people that I am proud to know that My Great-Great Grandfather and His Son My Great-Grandfather had a Hand in making this Jewelry and possibly also My Grandmother as my Mother found a Book with the Drawinfgs in it that was drawn on Drawing Paper. I hope to be able to find out who has this so I may get copies of it or get the originals. I hope also to sometime get all the Jewelry they made or maybe just a few.
